Shelby Mustang Motors, Inc. is an automobile restoration
and sales facility specializing in the vehicles jointly produced
by Mr. Carroll Shelby and the Ford Motor company from 1965 through
1970. The operation is located at 38 William Way in Bellingham,
MA and consists of a sales showroom (4500 sq. ft.), restoration
facilities (5500 sq. ft.), soda blasting facilities (800 sq. ft.),
and miscellaneous offices, bathrooms, and utility rooms.
The sales showroom houses approximately 20 vehicles including high
value Shelby Mustang collector cars, nicely maintained or restored
Shelby "drivers", and a selection of lesser value "regular" Mustang
automobiles. Current inventory includes the very first Shelby GT350
convertible sold to the general public, other fully restored convertibles,
several different models of 1967 and 1968 GT350s and GT500s in showroom
condition, and a collection of rare 1966 Shelby Mustangs that were
part of the Hertz Rental Company fleet.
The restoration operation includes areas for vehicle disassembly,
metal preparation, panel replacement, and painting in a UL listed
spray booth.
The final assembly area consists of a clean room where painted "hulls"
are reassembled into completed automobiles. These reassembly operations
include sheet metal attachment, glass installation, wiring, suspension
components, engines, transmissions, and upholstery. A vehicle rolling
out of this area will be literally better than new.
Shelby Mustang Motors owns the web site ShelbyMustang.com, and will
be developing a significant internet sales business for Shelby apparel,
literature, and parts to compliment the restoration and sales activities.
We look forward to serving all Shelby and Mustang enthusiasts and
welcome visitors at any time.
